Why we started
Most HR teams don’t need another screen. They need the work done.
In most Indian companies, the HR and payroll team spends the month chasing the same things: attendance that does not match leave, joining documents that never arrive, a Provident Fund return due on the 15th, a TDS deposit due on the 7th, and a queue of employees asking why their payslip changed.
Software has helped people record this work. It has not taken much of it off their plate. Someone still has to notice the problem, prepare the file, check it against the law, ask the right person and remember to follow up.
Jethro HR was started to change that. We build agents that notice, prepare and follow up on their own, and then stop and ask a person before anything goes out. Every step they take is written down so you can see what was done, why, and who approved it.
